How to Use and Preserve Bird's Nest

Bird’s Nest as a Health Food: How to Use It Correctly, Possible Health Risks of Overconsumption, and Its Suitability for Children

1. BEST TIMES TO CONSUME BIRD’S NEST:

You can enjoy bird’s nest at any time, but for optimal nutrient absorption, Nutri Nest recommends consuming it:
- Before bedtime: between 9 PM and 11 PM
- Before or during breakfast: between 7 AM and 9 AM
You can incorporate dishes made with bird's nest into your meals at the recommended times.

It’s important to note that bird's nest should not be eaten when you're extremely hungry or full, as this can affect the body's ability to absorb nutrients.

2. HOW TO BEST STORE BIRD’S NEST:

- Store in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight.
- Once soaked and cleaned, bird's nest should be kept in the refrigerator at 4 degrees Celsius and can be preserved for up to 10 days.
- Bird's nest from Nutri Nest with a moisture content below 5% can be stored for up to three years.

3. CORRECT USAGE OF BIRD’S NEST:

There are no recommendations or studies suggesting that consuming too much bird's nest can be harmful. In fact, as a natural food rich in nutrients and containing 18 amino acids, bird's nest is highly beneficial. However, our body has a limited capacity to absorb nutrients, so consuming large quantities frequently may lead to the nutrients being expelled without being absorbed.

4. APPROPRIATE AMOUNT AND FREQUENCY OF CONSUMPTION:

According to nutritional experts and Nutri Nest, it is advisable to consume bird's nest once a day, and no more than 2-3 times per week. For those who are ill or in need of nutritional supplements, the ideal frequency is once daily.

The recommended amount per serving is 3-5 grams of dry bird's nest (approximately half of an unsoaked nest).

This guidance can help ensure that bird's nest is used effectively for health without risks of overconsumption. As always, consider personal health conditions and consult with a healthcare provider when introducing new dietary elements, especially for children.
