How to make bird's nest stewed with Traditional Medicine Chicken

Ingredients:

5g dry bird's nest, soaked and expanded
1 black chicken
1 packet of traditional Chinese medicine herbs
2 cups purified water
3 pieces dried tangerine peel
5 pieces char siu pork
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder

Cooking Instructions:

Step 1: Soak the dried tangerine peel until soft.

Step 2: Clean the chicken thoroughly and let it drain.

Step 3: Boil the water with the tangerine peel, briefly blanch the chicken in it, then remove and let it drain.

Step 4: In a small pot, cook the chicken with 2 cups of purified water and the packet of traditional Chinese medicine herbs for about 1 hour.

Step 5: Turn the chicken several times for even cooking.

Step 6: After cooking the chicken for 1 hour, add all the mixture, the prepared bird's nest, and char siu to the pot.

Step 7: Continue cooking for another hour by steaming.

Step 8: Turn off the heat and season to taste.
